Spinal Flow

I love, love, love spinal flow. Like…obsessed LOVE!!!

I love it on its own as a treatment and also when I do another therapy before or after.

It is one of those things you have to experience, because words can lack.

Like with most healing processes, more than one treatment is recommended in order to keeping working on layers of blockages which have been built up over a lifetime of various stressors.

Below is more information taken from the Spinal Flow Technique site explaining more about Spinal Flow.

You can always look up more information on the web.

The Spinal Flow Technique is a powerful yet gentle healing technique that helps you reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence and capacity to heal.

Rooted in the understanding that the nervous system is central to your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, this technique works by identifying and releasing blockages along the spine — blockages caused by unresolved stress and stored trauma.

These stressors, whether physical (like posture or injury), chemical (such as toxins), or emotional (such as anxiety or grief), can disrupt the natural flow of energy through your body. When the nervous system is overloaded, it can no longer operate efficiently, often leading to pain, fatigue, emotional overwhelm and disconnection from self.

The Spinal Flow® Technique uses gentle access points along the spine and cranium to cue the body to release these stored patterns of stress. There’s no cracking or force involved, just a nurturing touch that encourages your body to shift from survival mode into a state of flow, balance and ease.

Each session supports your body to calm the fight-or-flight response and enter a deep state of rest and repair. Over time, this not only relieves physical discomfort but also helps release emotional tension and enhances clarity, energy as well as a sense of connection.

Spinal Flow is suitable for all ages and stages of life. Whether you’re navigating chronic pain, stress, emotional overwhelm, or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself, this technique offers a safe, nurturing pathway to healing from within.

Accoustic Vibrational Massage

A person receiving a sound therapy treatment, on a massage table while a practitioner uses Biofield sonic slider tuning fork and boot. The scene is decorated with a floral and jewel border. Theres a gong, crystal singing bowls and tunning forks.

The first time I had a weighted tuning fork played on my body, it instantly calmed and ground me like nothing I had experienced before.

Then I had to know more and down the endless rabbit hole of sound I went.

When I had singing bowls played on my body for the first time it was bliss and beyond. Like all the molecules in my body had a miraculous shake up and came back together in the best way.

Once again words are lacking.

One must just experience it!

The Benefits of Using Tuning Forks and Singing Bowls in Sound Therapy

The use of tuning forks and singing bowls in sound therapy has been shown to provide numerous benefits, including relaxation, stress reduction, pain relief, improved immune function, and enhanced mental clarity.

Relaxation and Stress Reduction

One of the primary benefits of sound therapy is relaxation and stress reduction. Low-frequency sound waves can promote relaxation by slowing down the body's nervous system, reducing heart rate and blood pressure. This can lead to a sense of calm and reduced anxiety.

Pain Relief and Inflammation Reduction

Sound therapy has also been shown to have analgesic effects, helping to reduce pain and inflammation. High-frequency sound waves can stimulate the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers, while low-frequency sound waves can promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension.

Improved Immune Function

Sound therapy can also support the immune system by promoting relaxation and reducing stress. Chronic stress can weaken the immune system, making the body more susceptible to infections and illnesses. By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, sound therapy can help support overall immune function.

Enhanced Mental Clarity and Emotional Balance

High-frequency sound waves can stimulate the brain, promoting mental clarity and focus. Sound therapy can also help regulate emotions by influencing brainwave patterns, leading to improved emotional balance.

Scientific Evidence

Several studies have investigated the benefits of sound therapy using tuning forks and singing bowls. For example, a study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that sound therapy using tuning forks can reduce stress and anxiety in patients with chronic pain. Another study published in the Journal of Music Therapy found that singing bowl therapy can improve mood and reduce stress in patients with depression.

Remedial Massage

Relaxation Massage

I started out in relaxation massage. I loved doing it for a while, but I was surprised when many of my clients would get off the table and thank me for the wonderful massage and energy work I did. What?

No one had really gone into that with me, and I honestly had no intentions of this. After many such experiences I decided to put it aside and go study Remedial massage. That was clinical and made sense. None of this other “energy” whatever. Plus, I could then actually help someone with a sore back.

For remedial I use a mixture of trigger point, myofascial release, PNF stretches and cupping. I sometimes bring in tuning forks or singing bowls if needed.

Now a days I love to combine relaxation and remedial along with the other therapies I have studied. With learning kinesiology, I do work with the subtle energy systems of and around the body. I also do this with sound tools I use. I think I had unknowingly tapped into this in my early years.

It gives me great joy to share these skills with you.

Thank you
